Our Davimac brand has proudly served the Australian agriculture community for over 40 years. We are passionate, we care about our products, we care about our customers. and we strive to be the best at what we do.
Origins.
It started as a simple idea in a small farm shed in Central West, NSW.
As a young 15 year old school boy, founder David McNab first envisaged Davimac, and by 1982 he was building chaser bins for local farmers out of an old shed on a farm west of Molong, NSW.
A huge demand for his bins meant that by 1989, a new larger factory was needed and a custom-built manufacturing facility was established in Wellington Street on the outskirts of town.
Handover and expansion.
At the age of 16, Dave's son Shannon, on agreement with his father, left school early to train as a Fitter and Turner. After completing his apprenticeship and at the age of 20, Shannon made his first big move by buying his first share in the family business.
He worked hard looking for innovative new designs to optimise farming practices, and by 25, he was running the entire operation! Over the next decade Shannon expanded Davimac's offerings to include a new successful line of seed drills and established a trusted Dealer network.
Davimac Group.
In 2013, Davimac acquired Agrowplow, a soil-conscious seeding and deep tillage company, and restructured as Davimac Group. Agrowplow's manufacturing facilities were relocated to a second site in Molong, and the company's production processes consolidated.
The acquisition proved to be a good fit, as Agrowplow’s dedication to sustainable farming married well with Shannon’s focus on innovation and the company was able to amalgamate its seed drill product lines and expand the Group's dealer network to inlude over 140 dealership locations servicing the entire country.

Now in our fifth decade, we have further expanded our business, production capacity and employees, with plans to further expand our product range to meet the ever evolving needs of farmers.
Over the years, we have built a strong reputation amongst farmers and dealers for quality and service within the Australian ag industry. Shannon and Davimac are one of the great family-owned business success stories of Australian farm manufacturing.
